INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE

MEET ENERGY TARGETS
By reducing your energy waste, you’re actively combatting global warming and working towards your government energy efficiency targets.

Looking for help with Insulation funding in Scotland?
There are a variety of grants and loans available to those looking to live more sustainably. Most loans are even interest-free, however, they’re becoming more and more limited every year.
You could be entitled to both grant funding and interest-free loans. We highly recommend that you explore your funding options while they’re still available to you.
Insulation built around you
Our insulation systems are designed to match your property construction type, fit your budget, prevent future damp and condensation, and most importantly – keep you warm and comfortable in your own home.
Approved EPC Energy Assessors
We can organise comprehensive energy efficiency audits, retrofit assessments and official energy performance certificates to residents across Scotland.
We also offer more general energy advice to those who need pointing in the right direction.

Common Questions about Insulating your home with DAReco
How Long does installation take
Installation times vary considerably from job to job, a simple loft installation generally takes around a day whereas a large solid wall job can take 5 days or more. Once we have carried out our initial survey and design we will be able to give you a better idea of the anticipated length of your project.
What type of insulation do you use?
This depends on the construction of the house and your own requirements. There is no one size fits all when it comes to insulation. We use a range of products, from mineral wool, through to aerogel products to make sure you get a product and design that suits your budget and the construction of your home.
Look at our insulation matrix to see what types of products might best suit you and your home.
Do you do cavity wall insulation?
Yes, we carry this out through one of our partnership companies. We often find that home owners have a great deal of difficulty arranging other specialists and on a traditional house there is often a smaller cavity wall extension that needs filled and Home Energy Scotland wont give you funding until this is attended to.
Do you arrange grants and funding?
No, this is something that you have to arrange yourself. To protect consumers, The Scottish Government has mandated that this item should be covered by FCA regulations. For this reason it has to be the person applying for any funding that completes the paperwork for the funding.
We understand that this can be an intimidating process and at DAReco we want to help you. We can provide you with all the paperwork that Home Energy Scotland will need to assess your application. It will be laid out in a manner that Home Energy Scotland can correctly allocate the amount of funding for each measure, be that loft insulation, cavity wall insulation or any other measure.
When Do You expect Payment?
We would issue you with an invoice upon satisfactory completion of your project. Our invoices are generally due within 7 days of being produced BUT we know that Home Energy Scotland state that payments can take a little longer to process. This is ok, we are experienced in this process and understand that Home Energy Scotland can take a little longer to transfer the money to your bank account. We are able to work flexibly with you while your funding is processed.
What if there is a problem with the installation?
Its rare that we have any issues with projects but we do know that this can happen on occasion. Your first point of contact will be with one of our technical directors who will try and resolve any issues that you have.
If it cant be resolved in this manner then the matter will be passed to one of the senior directors of the company to try and resolve.
